*VulnePro 's Combat Taedus. Took a few days, but it's finally done. I have a really short attention span now when it comes to art... and it's nearly finals week. Yeh, Vulnepro pretty much rocks my socks. This robot was sort of cobbled together on the fly, but if I can keep motivated I might actually DESIGN something, using art principles, which would be a good thing.

how did you actually do the dirt?
did you paint it or is it a brush?

For something you said was hobbled together it's a rather nice piece and actually looks like something that could fit in the TKP universe. Rather like the head and the reverse joint legs it has. He's also got a nice action pose going on and has a very distinctly unique visual style (which I note a lot of your work has) as well. Dig the textures and the grimy dirty look you gave it, he looks like he's been around the block a few times. Fav and watch.

Yeah, you have picked up on that right, there is some nouveau mixed in with some of the Theos work, along with art deco, futurism, cubism, post modernism, etc. All those influences are more or less blended into the Theos melange stew pot and become something else yet still identifiable cues. My art background is actually fine arts so it has really informed the material I create a great deal, and, I hope, making it a bit more unique than the usual fare at least in how I employ it.
